Hey Tennis Math developers, I

Hey Tennis Math developers,

I was thinking of a good thing you could do. I play matches often against my friends [i.e. the same people].

Was thinking it would be much easier if we could save players on the software and before the start of a match have the option to pick a saved player or write name of "new player".

Same for viewing match logs, pick one of the saved players' name then pick the player against whom you want to see the stats (now I don't know if head-to-head can be added) but once you pick the opponent's name from the saved list of players faced; there, you'll see the list of previous matches played against each other.

I can only assume that the matches will be listed as either the date played, the note written, or the score.

Just a suggestion, thanks for listening or reading; great software but I'm still forced to borrow my brother's Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 because I can't get it on my Sony Ericsson Aino. Thanks again Clark JB.

Hi Clark, thank you very much

Hi Clark,

thank you very much for your feedback. We are already working on the features you have requested. It will come in the next big release (planned in the end of August). Stay tuned!

I think as a trainer you really need more infos about the shot. At least you need the spin (slice or topspin) and the direction (cross or long-line). If you want to know where your players makes often errors, you need these informations!

The spin type as well as direction may of course be very useful. However, since we want to mantain the balance between the amount of features and perfect usability, this will be first introduced with "Stats freak" tracking mode. This mode is going to be the 4th grade of stats deepness, after "Beginner", "Intermediate" and "Professional", and hopefully will be released by the end of the year.

Dear Developers,

I love the program, and have been using it to track my sons performance as he plays USTA events. One enhancement I would like to see is the addition of a pro set format to the match types. My son plays in one day USTA tournaments and the format is an 8 game pro set all the way through. I know I have also heard of 10 game pro sets, but 8 is probably much more commmon.

Thanks,

Dear developers!

Thank You very much for the Tennis Math - it is perfect and very useful program!

Please make the Symbian version, because not all of the potential users are happy to change Symbian to Android!!!

Thank you for your feedback.

Thank you for your feedback. You are right, "drive" or "slice" or "top-spin" or "flat" is another useful dimension of stats which defines the ball rotation, and it will come later in the app as well as the direction (cross or long line).

However, since we want to mantain the balance between the amount of features and perfect usability, this will be first introduced with "Stats freak" tracking mode. Hi, What a great match

Hi, What a great match tracker! If I could write code, I would have done the same thing years ago. My only question is: If leave (or get distracted - I have several players I watch) while watching a match for whatever reason, can I "catch-up" later? Or, am I just out of luck to get the score right again?

Thanks.

Hi, thanks for your feedback.

Hi,

thanks for your feedback. We are now working hard on the next release and the "catch-up with the score" will be one of the highlights! Stay tuned :)

Hi, first of all great app

Hi,

first of all great app for me as a tennis coach. I just would ask you to add a differenciation in "return errors". I could be a service winner or an unforced error on the return (which happens more often, the lower the level of players is). The statistics only state "unreturned serves" which gives no information about that being good on the serve or just bad of the return player...

Thanks in advance

Roland

Hi, we hope to release the first iPhone version in 2012.

Android phones now have access to voice commands. As a trainer, it would be nice to be able to "dictate" the shots instead of punching them in which takes your eyes off the match, particularly if you want to record as much detail as possible on the types of shots.

Thank you very much for the feedback. We are looking at possibilities
of using voice input for entering score. Unfortunately, as of today,
quality of voice recognition is far from meeting requirements
of fast paced tennis game. In case the technology state will change -
we will immediately announce the possibility of using voice input to
record the game.
